Educated and seasoned through experiences in Paris, Las Vegas, Seattle, and Montréal, Jaffer returned to Pakistan to pursue photography full-time drawn to the country’s enigmatic blend of beauty, politics, and chaos

Jaffer introduced the concept of backstage fashion photography to Pakistan’s fashion scene transforming fleeting, unscripted moments into haunting visual narratives. As part of Move Mountains Co, a wedding and storytelling collective based in New England, he brings his cinematic and fashion-infused approach to weddings capturing not just moments, but moods. Alongside this, he has developed a growing portfolio in concert and live-event photography, merging his love of performance and movement with the immediacy of documentary style.

Dividing his time between the United States and Pakistan, Jaffer continues to shoot international fashion campaigns and fashion weeks in Paris, Los Angeles, and New York, maintaining a dialogue between worlds fashion and reality, East and West, chaos and grace.
